Remember when I sent out a request for pictures of red lips? Well, I’m finally allowed to talk about it!
Earlier this year, I was invited by SK-II to participate in an exhibition to celebrate the brand’s 30th year anniversary. The theme of the exhibition was Timeless, to honour SK-II’s iconic Facial Treatment Essence.
Basically, I had to present something that I thought was timeless, and it was easy enough – red lips! In beauty, what else could be more classic, right?
My problem was how I was going to present it. SK-II gave me total freedom to do what I wanted, so I could do something as basic as simply showing off my favourite red lipstick, or a picture of someone with red lips. But I wanted something more outstanding, as my exhibit will be up there with big SK-II names like Cate Blanchett, Qi Qi, Lee Sinje and Fauziah Latiff, and Malaysians Khoon Hooi, Winnie Loo, Datuk Yasmin Yusoff, Emmeline Ng and Vanida Imran. It was a pretty big deal.
A dear friend came up with a brilliant idea – instead of the shot of one person, why not do a collage of red lips?
So, thanks to you guys, and my other dear friends, the idea became reality. The launch was held last week, and present were P & G’s Group President of Asia, Deborah Henretta and P & G Malaysia Country CEO, Yuri Hermida.
Have a look below – or if you’d like, head over to The Curve (Centre Court) any time between 27 July to 1 August, where the Timeless Miracles Exhibition will be showcased. And see if you can spot your lips!
