Christmas Wish List: Vanilla Baths

91271855[1]

I’m a huge fan of vanilla – The Body Shop’s Vanilla Perfume Oil was a staple scent during uni days, and for a couple of years, while it was available, I used to (generously) spray on MAC’s delicious MV2.

And I knew I met the man for me when he said that his favourite smell in the world was vanilla on my skin *grin*.

I’ve  moved on to darker perfumes, but vanilla will always have a place in my beauty cabinet – only now I stick to vanilla-scented bath and body products – who can resist a woman who slides into bed smelling of cupcakes, cotton candy, and cream brulee? Here are my top three vanilla bath products for Christmas!

Philosophy Vanilla Birthday Cake Ultra Rich Shampoo, Shower Gel & Bubble Bath

This fabulous multi-tasker is heaven in one big, fat bottle. Enough said.

Currently going for RM81 at strawberrynet

Lush Vanilla In The Mist

Words can’t describe how scrumptious this makes you smell when you step out of the shower. I love how this soap contains real vanilla pods to exfoliate the skin, though I consider this more a soap than anything else.

£2.95 for 100 grams at Lush UK

Laura Mercier Creme Brulee Cream Body Wash

05316924703[1]

If you really, really want to smell like dessert, this is it. It has texture like liquid honey, lathers up beautifully, and doesn’t dry the skin. Oh, and did I mention that the scent, absolutely divine?

If you really want to splurge, get the entire range!

RM139 at Laura Mercier counters.
